New Albany man identified after deadly motorcycle crash near Eastern Boulevard overpass
Indiana State Police troopers were called to investigate a crash that happened late Tuesday night. A 25-year-old New Albany man, Mason Tyler Brown, has died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 65 in Clark County, Indiana. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Tuesday near the Eastern Boulevard overpass. The driver of a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle was thrown from his bike onto the roadway and taken to University of Louisville Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. ISP investigators believe Brown was speeding and passing several vehicles after crossing the Lincoln Bridge, before he hit a silver 2016 Yukon SUV that was following the speed limit. The collision threw Brown off his bike and the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway before hitting a parked semi-tractor with a trailer. No one was hurt in the Yukon.

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) - A New Albany man is dead after a late night motorcycle crash on Interstate 65.
Indiana State Police troopers were called to investigate a crash that happened just north of the Eastern Boulevard overpass on Tuesday around 11 p.m.
According to an ISP release, the driver of a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle had been thrown from his bike onto the roadway and then taken to University of Louisville Hospital.
The victim later died at UofL Hospital from his injuries and he was identified as 25-year-old Mason Tyler Brown.
ISP Sellersburg Post investigators believe Brown was speeding and passing several vehicles after crossing the Lincoln Bridge.
As the bike continued north, ISP said Brown hit the back of a silver 2016 Yukon SUV that was traveling north and following the speed limit. The collision threw Brown off his bike and the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway before hitting a parked semi-tractor with a trailer. No one in the Yukon was hurt and the driver pulled to the side of the interstate.
The crash is still being investigated.
