Louisville Police has crushed a 2009 Dodge Charger muscle car with a Monster Truck in an effort to make an example of illegal street racing. The police seized the car in 2024 after an illegal street takeover at Shawnee Park. The car was found with more than nine stolen components, including the Hellcat engine, wheels, electronic modules, the exhaust system, suspension, brakes, transmission components, and even seats. The public crushing the car was done to send a strong message to drivers that illegal street races have consequences. The vehicle was given a public sendoff at the KFC Yum! Center, where it was added to the Glow-N-Fire Tour.
