LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Old Forester will released one of its rarest bourbon, President's Choice, just in time for Father's Day.
Bottles from several single barrels went on sale Wednesday morning online and at the Old Forester Distillery on West Main Street in downtown Louisville.
President's Choice dates back to 1964 when former Brown-Forman President George Garvin Brown II offered the first private single barrels to customers.
Each barrel has its own unique flavor profile.
"President’s Choice is our most sought-after product – and most people never get the chance to buy a bottle," Master Taster Melissa Rift said in a news release Wednesday. 'We’re excited to announce this special President’s Choice release just in time for Father’s Day."
