Ex-Brooklawn employees indicted in 7-year-old's death plead not guilty
Two former staff members have pleaded not guilty after they were indicted in the 2022 homicide of a 7-year-old at a residential treatment facility. Three former Brooklawn employees, Deborah Francis, Jillian Parks and Amanda Whitlow, have been indicted on charges of complicity to commit manslaughter in the second degree in the death of Ja'Ceon Terry, a 7-year-old boy who died at Brooklane, a children's treatment center in Louisville four years ago. The former employees plead not guilty to the charges. The child died at the facility in 2022.
