OF GREEK HERITAGE. YOU REALLY HAVE TO BRING OUT THE ENTIRE FAMILY. FOR THE TWO DAY GREEK FESTIVAL. THERE’S SO MUCH TO DO. I’M JOINED RIGHT NOW BY ALEXIS AND ALEXIS KIND OF JUST SPEAK ABOUT WHAT FOLKS CAN EXPECT WHEN THEY COME HERE. LOTS OF FUN TODAY. WE’VE GOT CONTINUOUS DANCING, LIVE MUSIC, LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL, AUTHENTIC, HOMEMADE FOOD. WE’VE GOT PASTRIES. WE’VE GOT DRINKS, WE’VE GOT CHURCH TOURS. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO MAKE BAKLAVA THE SIGNATURE PASTRY, WE HAVE A COOKING DEMONSTRATION AND KIND OF TALKED TO US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS. YOU SAID THESE ARE SOME OF THE POPULAR GREEK MEALS. YES, WE HAVE A CHICKEN PLATE TODAY, WHICH IS CHICKEN. RENATO, ROAST CHICKEN WITH OUR GREEK GREEN BEANS, RICE PILAF. WE HAVE TRADITIONAL GYRO WHICH SERVED WITH TXIKI SAUCE I DIDN’T BRING WITH ME TODAY, BUT WE DO HAVE PASTA, WHICH IS THE GREECE’S LASAGNA WITH SPICY GROUND BEEF AND NOODLES. WE HAVE MOUSSAKA. EVERYBODY’S HEARD OF THAT, THE EGGPLANT AND POTATOES. SO BASICALLY THERE IS A LOT TO EAT HERE. BUT OF COURSE, IF YOU’RE EATING SOMETHING, A LITTLE ENTERTAINMENT DOESN’T HURT. TAKE A LOOK RIGHT OVER HERE. THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE. AND HERE, ALEXIS, KIND OF EXPLAIN WHAT THEY’RE WEARING AND THEN WHAT DANCE THEY’RE DOING. YES. THIS IS OUR HELLENIC DANCE GROUP, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND THE THE YOUNG MEN ARE WEARING THE TRADITIONAL ZONE COSTUME, WHICH IS A MILITARY COSTUME. THE PLEATED SKIRT HAS 400 PLEATS IN IT, SIGNIFYING THE 400 YEARS THAT GREECE WAS UNDER THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. THE GIRLS THE RED COSTUME IS FROM KEFALONIA, WHICH IS ONE OF THE IONIAN ISLANDS. AND THEN THE YOUNG LADY IN WHITE IS WEARING A COSTUME FROM EPIRUS. SO AGAIN, YOU COME ON OUT HERE, IT IS ALL GREEK TO TRADITION. AGAIN, BRING THE ENTIRE FAMILY OUT. IT’S GOING TO BE CERTAINLY A FUN
