Woman, man killed in Beechmont motorcycle crash identified

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified the two people who were killed in a crash on Thursday. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified the two people killed in a motorcycle crash in Beechmont, Louisiana, that identified as Amanda Upshaw, 32, and Roger Pendleton, 51, who died of blunt force trauma from the crash. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on Thursday at the time of 10pm near the intersection of Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue. Pendleton was pronounced dead on the scene and Upshaw was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died. The driver of the pickup truck, who was driving the motorcycle, was not injured and there are no charges expected.
