Knights take runner up at state dance – Nebraska City News Press Lourdes Central Catholic earned a runner up finish for Hip Hop in Class C2 at the Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Championships. Louisville won the championship, while Lourdes was in order to take home the title. The 2023 championships were conducted at the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island.

In its fourth year of competitive dance and first year at the state tournament, Lourdes Central Catholic earned a runner up finish for Hip Hop in Class C2.
Louisville won the championship. Finishing in order behind Lourdes were Archbishop Bergan, Wood River, Pender, Laurel- Concord-Coleridge, Cross County, DoniphanTrumball and Centennial.
The 2023 Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Championships were conducted Feb. 16-18 at the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island. Hip Hop C2 performed on Friday, Feb. 17.
