Louisville Metro Hall

Louisville is a town on the Ohio River in the north of Kentucky and is located on the border with the neighboring state of Indiana. Founded in 1778, it was named after the French king Louis XVI, who supported the US in its struggle for independence. The name of the city is therefore always pronounced slightly French. In 2003, the city of Louisville joined the surrounding Jefferson County to Louisville Metro with a population of 740,000. The center of Louisville is dominated by modern American buildings, but in the neighborhoods there are many Victorian-style villas.
