One of the best players from the state of Indiana was on Louisville's campus earlier this week.

And he left with a scholarship offer.

Fishers, Ind., High School four-star wide receiver JonAnthony Hall made an unofficial visit to U of L on Monday for spring practice. He said he was extended the scholarship offer by the U of L staff before he left the campus.

It was offer No. 16.

"The visit went great," Anthony told Cardinal Authority. "I really liked the on campus living and the facilities. The WR coach (Garrick McGee) is awesome and just watching him coach the guys makes me feel like I could have success there as well. The coaches said they loved my film.

"They said that I'm someone that they need on their roster as a team who likes to throw the ball a lot."

Hall has a pair of official visits set up for June to Purdue and Indiana. He also has offers from Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan State and others.

As a junior, Anthony caught 69 passes for 1,055 yards and six touchdowns on 15.3 yards a reception. He added 12 carries for 61 yards and averaged 42.1 yards on nine kickoff returns. He had 11 catches for 262 yards and five TDs as a sophomore.
