The crash occurred shortly after 10:50 p.m. on Bardstown Road and Iona Court. A vehicle was making a left turn from the Harley Center and hit another vehicle heading south. The driver, a woman, died before she could be taken to a hospital and four others, including the driver, were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital with minor injuries.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - One person was killed in a late night collision in Louisville’s Fern Creek neighborhood.

Louisville Metro police officers were called on Wednesday shortly after 10:50 p.m. along with Louisville firefighters and EMS to a reported crash on Bardstown Road and Iona Court.

A vehicle had made a left turn from the Harley Center in the 5300 block of Bardstown Road onto southbound Bardstown Road and hit another vehicle heading south, according to a release.

Louisville Metro police said the driver making the left turn was a woman and she died before she could be taken to a hospital. Four people in the southbound vehicle, including the driver, were taken to University of Louisville Hospital and none of them had injuries.
