Cards fans are fired up following the official introduction of new University of Louisville men's basketball head coach, Pat Kelsey. The University of Louisville (UofL) has introduced its new head coach, Pat Kelsey, with high expectations for better results. Fans are expecting a new era of the team, following a rough two seasons under Kenny Payne. Some students and lifelong fans believe Kelsey will bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the program, while others are hopeful he'll make an effort to connect with fans while rebuilding the roster. Despite reservations about the hiring, most agree that the pressure is on Kelsey to turn things around for the team. WLKY caught up with UofL students and fans on Thursday to discuss their expectations for the new coach.

"Fiery dude. I'm excited to see some emotion on that sideline, felt like it was lackluster the past couple of years."Other students on campus said they want a coach who wins and holds himself accountable for the team's performance. Kelsey emphasized he embodies those qualities during Thursday's press conference.Some fans are expecting Kelsey will bring fresh ideas and perspective to the program.
