Wayside Christian Mission, Kentucky Motorcycle Association hold Easter Bunny Run

Easter came early for some Louisville kids and it was heralded by the roaring of dozens of motorcycles. Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville held its annual Easter Bunny Run on Saturday, partnering with the Kentucky Motorcycle Association for the fun weekend. The bikers bring in candy and treats for the kids, and even allow them to sit on their motorcycles. This is the first Easter for Jamaul Samuels that his son will remember, so he wanted to make a special effort for him. Volunteers or donations can be made on Wayside's website.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Easter came early for some Louisville kids and it was heralded by the roaring of dozens of motorcycles.

Wayside Christian Mission held its annual Easter Bunny Run on Saturday. Every year, they partner with the Kentucky Motorcycle Association to give the community something fun to do for the holiday weekend.

The bikers bring all kinds of candy and treats and even let the kids sit on their rides.

Jamaul Samuels said this will be the first Easter his son will be old enough to remember and so he wanted to do something special for it.

“That means everything in the world to me,” he said. “You know, it warms his heart. He’s a happy baby and that’s is first time actually being able to get him to being on a motorcycle. So he loved it and he was smiles all the way.”

You can volunteer or donate to Wayside Christian Mission on their website.
