Southern Indiana man sentenced to 30 years for child molestation
A Jefferson County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for child molestation. Waylon Schlichtkrull, 37, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for child molestation in Jefferson County, Indiana. He pleaded guilty to a felony of child molesting and sexually abused a child for over four years. Prosecutors say he threatened to harm the victim's family if they knew of the abuse. Schlichkrull will have seven years suspended to supervised probation, along with credit from time served since his arrest in January, and will also have to register as a sex offender once released.
